I recieved art training from a technical high school that specialized in visual arts. There I gained many opportunities to work with many different disciplines within fine art. The facilities were excellent however far more valuable was the guidance from the artists/instructors. There I discovered that I choose to focus upon living a life that gives me something to say and something to create. After 30 plus years of making mistakes I have stories to tell. I am a mother of an adult son and small girl. I have experience with social services in my community and familiarity with mental health, addiction, child apprehension and by far the most healing and benefit I have received and have to offer is compassion for the human condition and gratitude for the many that chose to help me along the way. I was assisted by Indiginous people in my community and personally feel that I have a unique perspective on the Canadian experience as a first generation Canadian.
