Silk Painting

Silk painting is a meditative practice of fabric arts where resist is used to block professional or natural dyes to create an image or abstract design. Colours are colourfast, very bright and intense. Dyes are set with steam. Silk is finished as a scarf, other clothing item or wall hung painting.
